Tamara was introduced to yoga at the age of four, practicing with her late mother, Rachelle, who had just added a new brother to Tamara’s life. Noticing that it actually allowed them to spend more time together in a Mother/Daughter capacity, she enjoyed the challenges it presented for years to follow! She enrolled in ballet & jazz dancing classes since the age of 5 and has danced well into her late teens through several dance studios in the Chicago land area. As she became an adult she found yoga was always something she migrated toward. Tamara found herself attending more yoga classes, becoming more regular and magnified, since having a child of her own in 1998.
In 2006 Tamara became Yoga Alliance RYT®200 Certified yoga teacher as she found complete joy in aiding others in finding their strength and personal awareness through yoga. Tamara’s personal growth continued as she became certified in Pilates mat & became a personal trainer all beginning at the YMCA.
Since moving to Texas over 12 years ago, Tamara opted to immerse herself in yoga for stress relief and physical ease, once again. Practicing daily and attending classes locally, she fell l in love with practicing yoga. Every aspect magnified strength, connection, flexibility, mental clarity, confidence and compassion for herself, which she was able to extend to others. Tamara caught fire in yoga.
In 2013, Tamara began teaching yoga in New Braunfels, TX. with tremendous reception! Tamara became a nationally certified Yoga Instructor NCCPT-National Council for Certified Personal Trainers (https://www.nccpt.com). Tamara is found often teaching at large events. “When I’m not teaching Yoga or Pilates, I’m practicing it. When I’m not practicing it, I’m studying it. When I’m not studying it, I’m dreaming about it! I’m constantly evolving in my practice and in my methods of teaching. Have you ever caught fire? It’s contagious, come and fuel yours!”~Tamara Masters
